The Demons We Hide
A submission for the MAY WOLF '25 furry visual novel jam.

Besides the obvious warning, this game also contains:
- Mentions of God, Hell, Demons, and Death
- Execution
- Depictions of Anxiety
- Crude language
- Violence
- Disturbing imagery. (only described)
In a fictional world based on medieval Poland, you are set to be executed for high treason. "I didn't do it I wasn't myself!" You cry to the executioner. Will he spare you, or will you pay for what you (supposedly) did?
The main focus for me was writing the story so unfortunately I had to rush everything else. This is my first visual novel that I am releasing out into the world. Hopefully you can look past the slapped together sprites and enjoy the story and characters. :p
Maybe one day I will make a remastered version with higher quality assets. But for now I hope you enjoy!
All background assets are part of the public domain.

Install instructions
PC: Unzip the archive and run the executable (.EXE) inside the folder.
MacOS : I'm not sure but I assume it's similar
If in doubt, you can just play the web version without downloading. : o )
